Vision   LifeMusic Studios was founded in 2005 by Johnny Gillard. He has a heart vision to equip people in their musical endeavors through teaching, arranging, recording, producing and live performance. We believe God has a plan and purpose for each person, especially creative people who are made in His image. We partner with those who are talented and connect you with great professionals for your production, like one big family. Our heart is for songwriters who need tools to get their music recorded and heard. We can help you enter into the digital audio world even if you do not have the studio hardware or knowledge of recording techniques.No longer do you have to say "It is hard to find good people" Never again! Private Instruction  We have great musicians of high caliber to mentor and teach specifically for your instrument. No more learning the same simple song for 3 years and feeling bored with Music! LifeMusic has a passion to teach and see every student grow into their full potential and push themselves to be great and stay inspired. Also, laying a solid foundation for youth is part of the teaching we believe in. We have a policy of allowing passion to be creative–learning modern songs with theory at the same time. We thrive on the thrill of seeing people become successful and meet and exceed their goals in music. We have a payment schedule which is set in advance, as is the time slot available for you.

Songwriting and Arranging  A song can become an amazing inspirational expression of emotion and should be developed with care. Sometimes you have a good line or two but are unsure of where to go from there? Or, what do you do if you do not have the chord knowledge or skills on your instrument to play what you are hearing? If you have ever thought "if I only had better sounds or someone to work with” or, “who can give me some space to breathe and also input to help at the same time?" we can help. Come on over and let's work on it together! We do hourly songwriting with all the musical knowledge, digital and studio tools you need at your disposal. You walk away with recorded basic tracks from the songwriting sessions, so you can work on them in your own time as well. 

Artist Services   We can assemble amazing groups to accompany an artist and can quote you competitive rates. Each person we contract will have a Bio posted for your viewing and a meeting can be arranged to meet the Lifemusic Partner. LifeMusic Recording Studios is located in Newmarket Ontario and is available for recording work in Canada and internationally. We work with Artists who want to add something to their tracks musically without paying high costs of studio time and engineering. We use technology to record and transfer the finished product to you over the internet, saving you a lot of time. As an artist we are your one stop shop for all you need in a band, recording, promotion, website, etc.. 

Recording/Tracking Facilities  In studios, you pay for the time of the Producer, Engineer, Musician and Facility–sometimes all separately! Communication between all these parties can be a nightmare on top–leaving you out of the loop as an artist and holding the bag! We work out our project schedules in advance to avoid these mishaps with milestones and realistic timelines to aim for in the process. This is all done up front with us with ONE reasonable fee. We keep our studio simple for vocalists and Multi-tracking of instruments.  We prefer to work one on one with Artists and songwriters to develop the best material with no hassles or pressure. Once we take care of the business….let's focus on the art!
